The Shimano 105 Di2 R7170 groupset brings Shimano’s electronic shifting
technology to a wider range of performance road bikes. Designed around the
12-speed Di2 drivetrain platform, the system delivers fast, accurate and
consistent shifting while maintaining the durability and reliability for
which the 105 series is well known.
The drivetrain integrates wireless communication between the shift levers
and the central battery unit while maintaining a clean and efficient wiring
structure to the derailleurs. Combined with hydraulic disc braking and
Shimano IceTech rotor technology, the system offers excellent braking
modulation, smooth shifting performance and dependable operation across a
wide range of road and endurance riding conditions.
